This is the second pole in on the left in this photo: [id=584315495].

Fire alarm telegraph lines (on the bottom crossarm) await being transferred to the new pole.

Note that by that time (1911) a single bolt was used to affix crossarms to their poles. This practice was becoming commonplace with most electric utility, telephone and telegraph companies in the United States. The earlier method employed two lag bolts diagonally spaced through the center of the crossarm.

The E.E.I. Co. stenciling on the left side of the upper three crossarms stood for the Edison Electric Illuminating Company.

Note the porcelain bottom-plug transformer fuses mounted on each side of the middle arm.
