The 10-pin crossarms you see here supported subscriber circuits in this Maine neighborhood. They were rather commonplace throughout Maine and the rest of New England through the mid-1960s or so. This was New England Telephone & Telegraph Co. stuff and it certainly was a delight looking at lines like this one that were along many side streets in the Boston suburb I lived in back then. By the later 60s, enclosed paired cable took over in our area. Already well-established in the insulator hobby, I had lots of fun going through our local NET&T Co. boneyard during those days!
