Here is a less common early power piece made by Thomas for Fred Locke in the 1890s. U-923C cross top made of dry process porcelain and embossed across the wire grooves: F.M.LOCKE, VICTOR, N.Y. and PAT MAY 89 MAY 22 94. This piece displays great but does have a chip on the outer skirt base as well as a couple smaller chips on the inner most skirt -- else just a few small flakes. This is likely the earliest of the Fred Locke cross tops. $55 plus actual postage.
