Here are some of my favorite oddball electrical porcelain pieces. Allot of these had interesting special patents which makes researching them fun. Left to Right: S-H Patent/Macomb (Two the same showing one side each), Weird nail knob in a bluish grey color marked S.P.C. Co. I don't know what the long groove was for in the center of the piece., NN Elevator Spool. This was removed from a 1925 Otis Elevator electrical pannel. A friend got two for me and I gave the other to my father. Clincho self tying nail knob, Weird shaped spool. Reminds me of the old thread bobbins made of wood for the Singer Sewing Machines but this is a telephone knob. NN Gamewell Battery insulator. I made a little stand for the bottom part peg to sit in, No Name Paragon insulator, IDEAL insulator top, IDEAL insulator complete, Pass & Seymour break or strain insulator.
