I may regret this later but for now I will also offer these two trees for sale. They go as a pair. If they don't sell I will put them at the entrance way to the new house, one on each side of the driveway. I like them, I want to take them but the reality is that with a 380 house slumdivision across the road, I'm certain they will attract nothing but problems. Pretty much the same reason I can't take the glass trees. I would like the glass trees to line the new driveway, but again all I can foresee is one big headache.

Each tree holds 300 or so insulators. Each tree is a welded one piece unit, so unlike the glass trees which disassemble and could be moved in a car, these can not be taken apart for transport and will require a truck or trailer. Similar but not identical, one is slightly larger, holds more insulators and is taller.. Roughly 5 ft dia. and 10 ft tall. I guessing at 400 lbs. each. The rings are original galvanized steel crossarm braces, the same as the spokes that hold them in place. Threaded pins are welded to the outer rings while the spokes simply have lengths of galvanized rod to hold the insulators. 600 or so insulators - 1200 lbs.

$2,000 will buy the pair. A small deposit will hold them for 2 years so you have time to work out transport from Peterborough, Ontario. Canada

600 insulators @ $2 each =$1200; 400 pins @ .50 = $200; materials +time to construct one tree $300 X 2. Totals $2,000 Not an unreasonable price
