Here is a picture of some of the different hardware to attach insulators to there posts. On the right is the red plastic RED SNAP'R insulator. I kept this piece because of the story of the Humming birds which I found very interesting. Being a bird and wildlife admirer myself it reminds us that we all must protect and cherish all forms of life on this Earth. It's a shame that most of the electric fence insulators are plastic now and the porcelain ones are most likely made in China. Zareba (Woodstream Corp Lituz, PA) had acquired most of the electric fence distributors to become the main distributor of electric fence items. American Farm Works, Fi-Shock, and including Red Snap'r to name a few. Only Dare Products, and Gallagher are the two main competitors. Gallagher is a foreign co. over in Europe which has distributors in the U.S. I have yet to acquire porcelain insulators from them though they are not marked. I hope someone out there enjoys collecting these as much as I do. Take Care to all.
