Here is some fence insulators made directly for Sears Roebuck & Co. for their farm line. The ones on the left are marked CROSS COUNTRY for their line in the 40's. There have been insulators found on the Square D Co. dump providing speculation that they may have made these for Sears but the insulators also have designs similar to Knox. The ones on the right are marked Farm Master for there line in the 50's. The two in the middle are marked with a Sears logo. I have yet to find the number 5 small knob and number 23 knob with Farm Master on it. They were made by Wisconsin Porcelain Co.for Sears. There is also a Cross Country knob with large letters and I've heard that there is a knob with WARDS made by them also which I'd love to find. Both Sears and Montgomery Wards sold Wisconsin Porcelain Co. insulators.
