Here's an unlisted porcelain insulator made by Manufacturas Ceramicas (marked with their logo) but also marked VA 27 which is abbreviation for Vista Alegre, a Portuguese insulator manufacturer. My educated guess is this piece was specially designed for a Vista Alegre contract that they were unable to fulfill. I believe the 27 is for the date 1927. Never seen this insulator before! Not on NIA website nor the Worldwide Insulator books. Only teeny upper wiregroove nicks, otherwise factory mint!
