I am not a busy person on eBay. A couple transactions a year is about normal. Bought something a few days ago and was surprised how it payed out. $135.79 + 21.21 for shipping as per the auction agreement, for the total of $157 which I expected to pay. Clicked the Pay Now link where -surprise- $9.51 in tax was added on making the total now $166.51 . I use the PayPal link to pay the $166.51 and blinked twice when the receipt states that I have just paid $167.99 - another hidden increase without any explanation !! That's right folks, the buyer has to pay the PayPal fee for the payment to the tax man. PayPal refers to this as the 'friends and family' option. I want my $1.50 back as he is no friend or family of mine.
