This is a NOS Electra Lakestar that had been hidden away at the Blue Star Bike Shop for about 5 years. The owner of the shop had been hoarding various models of Electras, but left the price tags on them. The bike mechanic let me see them, but he was unaware that they were not for sale. I told him I wanted to purchase the Lakestar and bought it on the spot. I think the owner got upset and placed all the other bikes off limits. If the owner wants the Lakestar back, then he will have to purchase it back from me for double or nothing.
