Up for sale is a great-looking mottled brown U-149 unmarked Pittsburgh High Voltage Porcelain product with the typical crudity. This example has some great glaze variation and a nicely mishapen base and lower skirt. It also has a glazed over crack on one side of the crown. This style saw extensive use on the Michigan Central Railroad which ran through S.W. Ontario from Fort Erie to Windsor, ON. This piece was rescued from an antique store in small town Iona, Ontario several years ago.

This example is in good shape apart from 3 small flakes running upwards off the very sharp upper wire ridge on one side. The piece displays best with the more crude side facing forwards fortunately.

Now asking $8 USD plus shipping for this example. I accept PayPal, or personal cheque from any member of ICON or any collector with whom I have dealt before.
