Tonight I'm offering up some of the finest that the CD 155 style has to offer: some tougher-to-find Armstrong examples. At left is a [030] example in what I'd say is best described as smoky straw. This example is VNM condition, with just a bit of high point wear on the upper wire ridge, base, and lower skirt edge - perhaps from being used as a door stopper for some amount of time. At right is a KPP-embossed example in the [040] EIN. I gather this marking signifies "Kerr Packaging Products" and was only made for a brief period of time after Kerr began to have some involvement with Armstrong. This embossing style turns up periodically here in Ontario, but only seems to have been used in small pockets on some CN lines. This one is dated 1972. It is in VNM condition with no discernable damage that I can see. Now asking $15 USD plus shipping for the pair. I accept PayPal, or personal cheque from any member of ICON or any collector with whom I have dealt before. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or for more photos, and look through my other items or unsold sales stock to combine shipping on items. |
