Attached is a picture that shows all the of the global Engineering Installation units. All Ground Electronics Engineering & Installation Agency (GEEIA) founded in 1959 were re-named as Engineering Installation (EI) Squadrons in 1970. There were 15 GEEIA units in 1959 and by 1970 there were 19 EI units. Although the EI units still constructed communication lines in 1970, there job changed to removal and use of more modern communications - electronics systems.
