In 1970, the 213th Ground Electronics Engineering & Installation Agency (GEEIA) was modernized and renamed the 213th EI (Engineering Installation) Squadron. This unit was still a New York Air National Guard Unit and was still assigned to the Roslyn Air National Guard Station in Roslyn, New York.
