213th Ground Electronics Engineering & Installation Agency patch is shown. The 213th GEEIA Squadron was formed in 1959 and is located at Roslyn Air National Guard Station in Roslyn, New York. This squadron had eight officers and 92 airman. Six of the eight officers worked for the New York Telephone Company while in the Air National Guard. The most notable assignment for this unit was that 45 men were assigned to construction of communication lines at Cape Canaveral in Florida. When GEEIA units were formed in 1959, there were 15 GEEIA units located across the United States.
