This small town is in southeastern Massachusetts and were served by the Southern Massachusetts Telephone Company as were many other communities in this area. Very likely So. Mass. Tel. Co. insulators were used along the line that we see here. During 1969 I and a couple other collectors found about 25 to 30 So. Mass. Tel. Co. examples along a private line in Rochester, MA that ran for several miles along a road through the woods.
