I am a member of a few insulator collecting groups on Facebook and noticed that another somewhat local collector was hunting a former PRR electrified freight line called the Trenton Cutoff. This particular line ran from the rail yard at Morrisville PA to a junction to the main line at Frazer PA and was electrified until the early 80s. This past Saturday, I met up with this other collector to help drag stuff out of the woods and maybe find more goodies. Here is a view of the tracks and catenary poles under business route 1 at Morrisville minus the wires. The transmission line is currently abandoned as well.
