Up for sale this evening is a fine-looking Vertical Bar / Diamond Canadian pony in the typical crisp light aqua, with some atypical amber streaks and swathes throughout the dome and crown. This example is the common [040] EIN, but examples with character like this are relatively few and far between. In addition to the well-defined amber blotches and swirls, this one has some nice microbubbles and a few medium sized ones as well. It also has some very pronounced straw marks on the crown and dome top. I dug this one about 4 years ago from a lot of several hundred ponies that had been dumped behind a farmer's barn near Zurich, ON. I'm glad it survived!

This example isn't mint, unfortunately. It has some light scuffing on the crown, and has two 1/4" and one 3/8" small flakes on the skirt, each on opposite edges. All-in-all, the sort of condition one would expect given where it was found. As the flakes are quite shallow, however, the piece still displays well and would no doubt make a good addition to any collection. It looks great back-lit!

I'm asking $10 USD plus shipping for this piece. I accept PayPal, or personal cheque from any member of ICON or any collector with whom I have dealt before. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or for more photos, and look through my other items or unsold sales stock to combine shipping on items.
