Locke insulators on a 13,000-volts transmission line that served several silver mining operations. This line was erected in the late 1910s - early 1920s and used the M-2140 unmarked and marked with the Victor r-infinity logo. Strains were Hewlett insulators and a few branch lines to mines used M-2221 Thomas. Looks like lag screw pins were used for the telephone line. A few poles had remains of both glass and porcelain telephone insulators. |
