I upgraded this piece from my collection. Purchased it in 2004 from Butch Haltman; the Cal came from the collection of A.L. Rash, a big-time collector from Texas. There are many shades of yellow among Californias. This is a golden yellow color with a copper sheen across the dome. There is a nick on the inner skirt and a long, narrow open bubble on the wire ridge. It has taken 15 years to upgrade this Cal.
