This is a picture taken by the late Mike Parker in the 1960s / 1970s of duplicated power lines in Bay City, Oregon around the time Tillamook People's Utility District won a condemnation suit to take the territory within Tillamook County that had long been served by the former Mountain States Power Co. (by then, a part of Pacific Power & Light). By then, Pacific Power had apparently downgraded the old 22kV transmission (on the right) to 12.5kV and had been removing the old 2400V distribution lines.
