Some of you may already know that I currently have a fundraiser running to help offset medical costs for fellow collector Gustavo Parra Nicholls. That benefit may be found here:

It is not too late to make a small contribution.

CD 154 Zicme. $100.00 shipped. Proceeds from the sale of the insulator go directly to Guss's gofundme and will be listed on your behalf as donor. As always, first e-mail that writes and says that "I want this insulator".

I am not that knowledgeable on ZIcme, so I asked someone who is. Caleb Thimell had this to say about the insulator that I am offering. "This light steel blue is actually a rare mold variation. It has the modern dome with the oldest lower half and largest embossing which is believed to have only been used one year at the factory".

Light steel blue, and not as dark as it appears in my photos. This is a crude piece. It has a perfectly flat dome. The pinhole shows only faint threading, almost smooth inside. There are six small flakes to the underside of the upper wire ridge in the rear. There is some "distorted" glass under the lower wire ridge, both above the embossing and directly in the rear, perhaps from handling while still hot. There is one drip point missing, and a small flake on the outside of the inner skirt. Thanks for looking and thanks to all who have contributed thus far!
