This tin Deadly Wires sign is one of several tin, paper and porcelain Montana signs that will be featured in the display. This sign came from an interior power vault so it was never exposed to the elements. It is probably the best preserved one of the small handful of decent ones. Most of these were nailed up on power poles in the early 1900's as you would expect by the writing on them. Those ones are heavily rusted and full of bullet holes and lineman spike marks. |
