Here's a map of the Walking Tour which starts at 4:00 p.m. sharp. Ellen will meet everyone at Reeder's Alley Parking lot at 4 and the tour will start.
Reeder's Alley is Helena's oldest, intact, territorial period neighborhood, built between 1873 and 1884 as housing for miners. You'll explore the alley, the nearby 1864 gold-rush era Pioneer Cabin, and hear the stories that bring these historical gems to life. Then stroll Last Chance Gulch and take in the Victorian-era architecture that earned Helena's its nickname, Queen City of the Rockies. Finally at the Montana Club, you'll experience the elegance that this once-exclusive establishment offered its wealthy members.
