I hit the Facebook marketplace lottery this week. Sometimes I look at Tod's Facebook account since I don't have one, and Thursday night I saw a picture of dozens of insulators in WV about 2.5 hours south of me that had been posted about an hour before. The pictures weren't great but I was pretty sure I saw an EC&M and maybe an MT Co threadless, and some interesting porcelain, so I messaged the person and asked if I could come down and look at them after work on Friday. They said sure, so Friday night I drove down after work (took 3.5 hours with traffic). Turns out I couldn't find the several insulators that I saw in the photos but what they had that wasn't pictured certainly made up for that. There are still hundreds of insulators down there, and still some nicer ones. The wooden one was really a surprise.
