During the mid-1960s there were many reports of UFO sightings, crashes and so forth across the United States. These made paper headlines and started to get people "looking up". I already was doing that but enjoying the openwire and pole-line scenery around where I lived.

With the UFO scare of those days, this fine product was offered in a hobby magazine. I've never seen one of these devices but I think it would have made a pretty good police radar detector in its day LOL!
