Here is a porcelain spool that is the same size and shape as a CD 1052. It is recess-embossed JOSLYN, N.Y./101 on top, and the color is very dark brown, almost black on top and bottom. The only damage I can find is the tiny glaze flake shown on the left edge of the top. I've searched the ICON photo gallery, but I can't find an example with this exact embossing that includes the N.Y. address. The spool specialist would know better than I. Is there any interest in this one at $12 plus postage?
