You are going to have to go back more than 50 years to identify these four historical figures from the development and design of insulators and the hobby. Contest ends June 11th. First ICONner to Identify all four figures correctly, wins this blue California baby signal, postage paid [id=563649231]

The contest winner is Bob Stahr who responded at 7:31 p.m. PST on June 3, 2019. The historical figures from left to right are:

1.JAMES G. PENNYCUICK.. holder of insulator-related patents, glass factory owner, who made his fortune from his glass prism tile invention. That company Luxfer still exists today.

2. FRANK E. FISHER. Manager of the Detroit Electrical Works and inventor of the Fisher slotted third rail electromotive system for electric railways. Unique insulators of this system CD 265 and CD 1190.

3. PAUL SEILER. Manager of the California Electrical Works. Inventor of the Seilers Patent insulator, CD 130.2 and probably CD 130.1 a modification of the Seiler's patent.

4. FRANCES TERRILL. First columnist for Insulator Bylines of OBX bottle magazine and author of a half dozen insulator books.
