My Spudfest loot, including a new lighted case, ... time to get my Californias out of boxes and into their own case. Got myself a hot-off-the-presses new price guide, a nice weathered underbuild crossarm, a handful of spools and pretty purple radio strains, an "I never knew these existed" NN No.48 with drips for the Brookfield study, a CD 281 for streetlight parts, some purty mud, a rather tall CD 170.1*, and an ice-aqua CD 116. Thanks to Don Briel for the clear resin pin. I can now finally get the early AT&T two-piece tramp I got from Mary Ann Pike two years ago displayed and off the hood of my Plymouth in the backshop. It would seem I have placed myself in the path of legal peril, taking possession of a sign stolen from the William J. Burns Detective Agency.

As always, it is such a pleasure to spend time with insulator friends at Spudfest.

* Upon reading my new price guide, I see the 170.1 has been done away with, and now this is a variant of the CD 170.0 class. Disirregardlessly, both were rare treats to find around Seattle as a kid, and remain a nostalgic favorite of mine.
