A really cool go-with found on Dwayne Anthony's table at the Rohde Ranch 2019 get-together. The color of the bark on the Madrone tree is its true fall color, the high gloss clear coat the previous owner decided to apply to it isn't. I'll work at removing the gloss, without compromising the bark. What's really cool is the steel brackets used for high wind/stress environments, and the 2 long nails protruding from the back. This leads me to believe that there was also a backer board (now buried in wood) used with this setup.
