Up for sale is a great-looking character G.N.W. TEL. CO. CD 145 in the [010] EIN "thin print" mold. Most known for occuring in those gorgeous royal and light purple shades, this mold is quite abundant in light aqua shades like this one. Anyone who browses the tables at shows and listings online looking for Canadian glass will know that these don't occur with any significant amount of amber swirling very often. This example has some great loopy swirls throughout all sides, which contrast beautifully with the crisp light aqua coloured glass. I personally picked this example over 10 years ago, but have since decided that another example with even better swirling won out in the pick for top shelf space.

This example is in excellent condition, apart from a factory annealing crack visible on the left side of the front skirt in the above photo. This crack runs about 3/4" up the skirt to just below the "G" in the embossing. It was in the piece when I picked it, and it has remained ever since through cleaning, moving, etc. I suspect it's not going to extend. Apart from this crack, the only damage I can see is a bit of roughness and some light flaking on the inner edge of the front inner skirt.

I'm asking $50 USD for this charactered example of an otherwise common Canadian insulator. I accept PayPal, or personal cheque from any member of ICON or any collector with whom I have dealt before. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or for more photos, and look through my other items or unsold sales stock to combine shipping on items.
