The local hydro company (Niagara-on-the-Lake Hydro) finished replacing an old line not far from where I live. Since I was in college at the time, I wrapped some poles with duct tape and used a marker to point out the things of interest from the poles. I managed to collect most of the insulators and hardware. These are two of the poles on the line. The pole in front has 1945 B.T. pole tags. The pole behind has a 1946 Bell Telephone pole tags. I save both crossarms including the pole tags, however the crossarm in front was chopped in half during the replacement.
