A door was broken open at a substation that fed a huge Alabama cotton mill. Copper thieves tore apart the switching equipment a long time ago. Lots of broken insulators that had copper caps and assemblies from the outdoor station beside the building. Crates of insulators straight from the Lapp and Locke company factories are stacked along the wall that were never installed.
