A beautiful, hefty, and rarely offered example of a Hartford Faience Company mantle tile which I would date 1908-1911. By early company ads we are informed green and black glazes are specialties of this company yet, to my knowledge, no known Hartford electrical porcelain has been found in these colors.

These tiles measure 3x6 and are 5/8" thick and very textured. 4 total are really available and this is the worst one (note chip on bottom corner). These may not have been installed as I see no signs of mortar.

I am asking $25 each plus shipping and may consider trades for crude porcelain or pennycuicks.
