The electric lighting service pole is on the left. Upon it is an early transformer which provided 110 volts for customers; the primary voltage likely was 1,100 or 2,200 volts.

Telephone openwire circuits are seen on the right. They appear to have been strung very tight and neat beneath this residential street's tree line.
