Thought I'd throw a tease out there by showing the reverse, better side first. :-)

Here's a CD 265 Fisher with some typical issues (see next pic)…but this one is probably better than half of those out there that are known. Many that appear in better condition were repaired from specimens similar to this. It is common to find damage to the top rail on almost all known embossed Fisher CD 265s. The rail projections are easy to repair and they blend in well if properly done. The key on the damaged ones is finding one without 'arm' damage. This one also has some damage to the base, as seen in the pic. Up to this point, this example has been left in its 'as found' state, complete with some stain and rust here and there. You decide, repair, or leave as is? Fresh from a recent collection purchase, it originally sold back in the 1990s for $3,200. We sold one three years ago for $6,100+ that had a nickel-size repair to the rail lip. Will offer this one for $2,600, plus actual shipping/insurance (insurance is your option).
