Imagine seeing this profile from about 8' away, not as clean and just lying there in the mud between some tree roots. Was quite startling! Sometimes when I spot an interesting looking shard shape up ahead my mind assumes it's something it's not and turns out to be disappointing. Once again, what I thought I had spotted turned out to be not quite what my mind was telling me it was....and for once I was glad it wasn't.
