After parking and walking on day two, about 200 yards from the entrance to the magic kingdom of glass shards, I turned and snapped a picture of our Roebling Suspension Bridge of 1867. The longer and larger Brooklyn Bridge was modeled after our bridge and was built years later and designed by the same John A. Roebling our bridge is named for. Yes, little Cincinnati, Ohio was years ahead of fabled Brooklyn! I cross this bridge and park practically under it when I go to the site.
