California eggs in strong or unusual colors are sizzling on the griddle lately, especially when in exceptional condition! Offering your choice from the pair pictured above, or you can take them as a pair.

SOLD! The left one is quite unusual and is in true definition a two-tone. It is a difficult one to properly describe, but I will do my best. With backlighting there is clearly a yellowish or straw sage in the center body of the egg (a little more greenish hue than seen in pic), with a light purple blending and radiating out to the ends, especially the front embossed end. This first I've ever seen like it! We sold a citrine yellow a couple of years ago for $2,250 and in my opinion this one is just as impressive, if not more. Condition is excellent for this larger-size Cal egg, with only a less than match-head flake on the rear lip and a peck or two elsewhere. $1,650 plus actual shipping (insurance is your option). Check or MO only.

SOLD! The right California egg is a solid medium purple with a slight smoke hue. But that's not all, it contains some fabulous milky olive swirling for added character! Condition is about as good as the other, with just a couple of match-head flakes and tiny pecks. Even with the added swirls, let's put this one well below the current pricing trend at $925.00 plus actual shipping (insurance is your option). Check or MO only.
