Took the long way home from the New Oxford show last weekend. Stopped at some small town antique stores and found these interesting pieces. The porcelain one looks like a U-659 but has a different crown than what Elton shows in his guide, and is exceptionally crude for a PP. There is a glazed over chunk missing from the bottom of the skirt and there are dark vertical streaks all around the skirt. And some nice light highlights on the crown. The aqua CD 132 Pat Dec 19 1871 has a weird extended skirt, a glass dot at the top of the pinhole, and is scuffed on the top of the dome and on the upper and lower wire guide ridges as if it had been rolled against something and scratched up. The last piece is a nice yellow olive green Star CD 133. |
