Up for sale is a great-looking trio of Canadian CD 145s. From left to right: G.N.W. TEL. CO. CD 145 [010] in a tough to find steel blue. Steel blue shades in this primary embossing are usually found in the skinnier mold style known for the royal purple shades. This one originated from close to Montreal. VNM with some great straw marks and creases on a watery shiny surface. H.B.R. (Hudson Bay Railway) CD 145 [020] with an E.D.R. blotout. Nice bright light blue aqua colour in clean shiny VNM condition. These are only found in two colours: light aqua and light blue aqua, with the latter being a bit tougher to find. G.T.P. (Grand Trunk Pacific) CD 145 [070] with "T.C.R." blotted out behind the embossing and in a great blue grey colour. Kind of like a "steel blue" shade on steroids, and with a lot more saturation. This one has a 1/4" ping on the dome top, and two small (1/4") base edge flakes, one on the front and one on the rear. I'm asking $45 USD plus shipping for all three. I accept PayPal, or personal cheque from any member of ICON or any collector with whom I have dealt before. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or for more photos, and look through my other items or unsold sales stock to combine shipping on items. |
