You know for sure that these crossarms were attached to this pole via lag screws because there are no exposed bolt(s) since we are looking from the pole's smooth backside. A couple sidepins and a short crossarm on top improvised for 90-degree crossover wire connections are also among interesting line construction techniques reminiscent of the early days of electric lighting's pioneer days.
