For the CD 104 specialist, the N.E.T.&T. collector, or the embossing aficionado: Here are both of the CD 104 NEW ENG. TEL. & TEL. CO. variants with backwards N's. They're both vnm++ with some light amber wisps and faint white milk threads. In my experience, the double N version outnumbers the single N by about five to one, and they're both a lot harder to find than the current Price Guide would seem to indicate. Also, the embossing is often faint and hard to read. These are both very prominent.
