An otherwise common insulator had it not been for the SMOOTH BASE making it a scarce find.

I also wonder how many Wedge Drip Point (WDP) Star CD 102's there are out there that have been overlooked by collectors at antique shops and swap meets simply because they didn't pick up the insulator and inspect the base!!!
