Here's a pair of baby porcelain no-tie insulators that were found in Belgium. Both are unmarked but they have characteristics consistently found on early Norden Porzellanfabrik insulators made in Copenhagen, Denmark circa 1915-20. In this case, it has orange peal surface on the outer skirt and thin fragile snow white porcelain with strong outer mold lines, multiple "XX" in wire grooves, small threaded pinholes and rough textured bases. Note that the wire notches are not the same- they go in opposite directions. They are both in nearly factory mint condition- the taller one (2.5" x 1.5"w and 7/16" pinhole) on the left has small crude surface hairline in inner skirt and pinhead size teeny groove flake and rarely seen flared skirt. One on right (2" tall x 1.45" wide and 3/8" pinhole) has teeny base chips that are glazed over. First email gets these desirable porcelain no-tie insulators for only $125 plus shipping. Thanks! |
