With nearly picking about 300 California insulators in eastern Washington back in 1999 in the CD's of 152, 161, and 162, this one was by far the best out of the bunch, and also the hardest one to retrieve. I had to stand on my friends shoulders and nearly his head to get a head start on a 25-30 ft shinny up the pole. Lucky the pole was so dry rotted and like sandpaper to get a good grip. I'd call this a light smoky purple with olive green swirls. The front has a bubble burst that was common on a lot of the 162's found. |
