Got a new minelab detector and went out to test it out. I stuck mainly to the area below the old ror which is in the process of being converted into a rail trail. Using preset 1 on my detector I excluded iron as there was just way too many bits of it everywhere. Other than lots of trash this is the best stuff. Modern change, Mason jar liner and a mystery bullet. What I do know is its 0.44 caliber, a cartridge slug, and later than civil war. Likely before 1900? Anyone have an idea?
