I went for a short magnet fishing trip to a creek behind an old fabric bleaching mill. Unfortunately, when they built the new bridge they dredged the concret lined section before the dam and it was devoid of magnetic treasures. The near by lake this feeds yielded old pliers, a bunch of fishing hooks, a few busted reels off a child's fishing pole, a rod rest and a nice fishing lure. Due to go back as it hasn't been dredged since the 1920s. I spotted this pole and was wondering what is on that bracket? Best picture I have unfortunately. It is a tall pole. Is it a ceramic version of a CD 320? Spool? Not an insulator at all?
