I went to buy spool bracket from a guy who answered my ad in the paper. We met him at an old barn on the property. He was not a very friendly fellow. But he asked me if I bought LRIs and I suddenly realized that the lines on the barn were still up. So I took a picture of this one. He said he had some off the barn and I told him I'd give him $10 a piece for them (which was really too much) and he said he wanted a lot more than that, so I politely thanked him for showing them to me and we left with the spool bracket. I've never been to that area before and my husband spotted a couple of old 2-part lily shell insulators on a pole, then I saw some 3 part PHV pieces on another pole. I really need to get the camera out with the long lens and spend a day driving around taking photos of the 100 year old porcelain pieces that are still in service around here.
