Last year Jeffrey Kramer and I dug up a big pile of pieces of M-3990s in Leadville, Colorado I am now finally attempting to make reconstructions of them from the parts ... because the M-3990 is such a spectacular and rare multipart, I figure anything I can make that looks displayable is a +1 for the insulator hobby... I am hoping to reconstruct two of them out of the heap in addition to the one top I already put together and added to some decent correct lower skirts I already had . Most of the shells we found were just missing to many parts to be saved, sadly .
